  1. To actually answer your question... start by going to www.auctiontips.com and get yourself a copy of the ebay sellers training guide... its between 97 and 197 dollars and worth every single penny... I know the people who wrote it... its gold for you if this is truly your goal.

Then spend as much time as you can getting to know terapeak, it is the market research tool for ebay... take your time and know your market better than your product so you can compete well ok...

The last thing you do is get an ebay account or paypal account, do that after you understand what your up against and how you want to engage... there are fee's with ebay and you don't want to pay where you don't have to... but you don't mind paying when you know your margins and that you know how to profit right...

If you need any more help let me know...

  2. I have not sold through ebay, but 1st you need to register and than there is a tutorial that gives ways that you can sale items. So far, I have only bought.

  3. Be very careful if you plan on using Paypal (you pretty much have to or your final prices will likely suffer significantly)

I'm not a big fan of over regulation but in Paypal's case they pretty much can do whatever they want without consequence and your money has very little protection (Ebay / Paypal purposely makes it easy for thiefs to register by requiring very little in the way of requirements for registration - they don't want to dissuade people from signing up)

Paypal screwed me out of $700 by claiming that a month old transaction was paid for using a stolen credit card. They in turn took money out of my bank account leaving me high and dry. Sellers have little protection and few means for recourse.

Make sure you read all the fine print and expect to have 10% of all the money you should get or spend on something stolen from you.

Don't sell to new buyers and don't start selling until you have some positive feedback (otherwise the final price of what you're selling will suffer dramatically)
