Hi, can anyone tell me why acids are good at preventing mould?

  1. Mold can't thrive on acid.  That is why you see more mold developing around lyme.  Lyme is alkaline.


  2. Acids prevent the mould's enzymes from working as they cannot function in acidic pH.
