  1. I hope not!

  2. He has'nt retired(yet)  he is not in the squad for the up coming 6 nations tourement.

  3. Let's hope so...can go back to being a tramp.

  4. He's been dumped. The new coach doesn't want a bar of him.

Mediocre number eight, and ridiculously over rated lock.

Shame, because he did bring a certain . . . something, I'm not sure what, to the game.

  5. No, he has not retired, but has been left out of the current squad.

  6. Chabal is being rested for a while and will be back after the 6 nations

  7. no hes not retired been left ut by the french luckilly for england

although he can coe back and help his club play more

  8. I think he has gone back to his natural environment. The Himalayan mountains!

  9. One of the best No. 8's in the world (and that's coming from an Englishman)

    Still signed on for Sale.

  10. He has not retired, he has just been left out of the squad. The new coach has better back row players in the form of Elvis Vermeulen, Ouedraogo Fulgence (only 1 cap), Thierry Dusautoir (did really well in the world cup) and Julien Bonnaire (just really really good). With the above guys filling the 6,7 and 8 positions there was no where for Chabal. It was a mistake to play him at 2nd row in the world cup and it looks like he will struggle to make the French squad ever again unless his form and skill dramatically improves.

  11. No he has not retired and is expected to play this weekend for Sale.

He has however not been selected in the new look French six nations squad. The new coach does not think he is mobile enough in his position compared to his other options.

  12. I doubt it, but he should. He's the most overated player in Rugby.

  13. Nah, he'll hang on with Sale for a while
