  1. I don't think so.  Usually the pre-boarding consists of elderly passengers, and people with babies/toddlers....not teenagers.  Just hope that you guys are in the same boarding group, and you are in the first one.  If for some reason you aren't, don't worry.  If the plane has 3 seats across on each side, people don't usually care to sit in a middle seat...so, here is my recommendation.  If you end up with seats that are not together, wait for someone that is traveling alone, and gets stuck with a middle seat.  Most likely, this person would happily take a window or aisle seat in exchange.  If that doesn't work, then you may have to seat away from each other.  Just get the 2 seats closest to each other that you can.

  2. i don;t think you will get preferential treatment - sure if you

ask someone nicely they will swap - if not get her to play

her ipod louldy with rap chew gum and sing - that should

    get you together

if not she's 14 can't she sit on her own for a while

would have loved to escape the oldies at that age

    have a good time

  3. Airlines don't preboard unless you have a disability now. I used to be able to preboard with my son when he was an infant and now he's only 3 and they won't let me anymore.  Just make sure you get to the airport a min of 2 hours in advance and ask the ticket clerk for the first round of seating. Make sure you check the tickets before you walk away. Especially if you have a layover. Sometimes they'll be sneaky because you won't look at the tickets to the second leg of your trip. They did this recently to my son and I when we were traveling cross country, from our layover in Dallas. They put me in row 26 and him (who's 3) in row 8! Thank goodness I caught it before it was too late to fix it. Just check and double check!
