We leave for our trip this fall with stops in Key West, Cozumel and Grand Cayman. Anyone have any info or advice to give about excursions or general cruise info would be great. Thanks!

  1. No, I haven't, but I have been to those three ports on cruises.  They are all easy to do on your own, provided you MAKE SURE you get back to the ship on time [especially important in Cayman, since it's a tendered port].

In Cayman, you'll probably want to swim with stingrays.  It's great fun and there are many reliable companies that can take you there.  Captain Marvin and Nativeway are two I've used - both were good, but I preferred the latter because it included a trip to Rum Point.  But, we just did make it back to catch the last tender!

In Coz, Chankanaab Park is beautiful [haven't been there since the reconstruction after Wilma, but I've seen pictures and it looks better than ever].  It's easy to get a cab there and back.  [Check their website for details.]  Some people prefer Paradise Beach [website], but I liked Chank better.

Go to CruiseCritic.com, click on "Boards", then "Ports of Call" for lots of reliable, up-to-date info from experienced cruisers.

    Have a great cruise!
