  1. I've used Alli twice, but only short-term.  The major side effect is an oily discharge during bowel movements and sometimes loose stool.  My fiance and I both had the loose stools (Sorry, I know it's kind of graphic), to the point where we both decided it wasn't worth it anymore.  Give it a try, you may get better results.
