There are plenty of good Indian restaurants because Wembley is an Indian area.  If you don't like Indian food, your choices are limited.

If you are catching the tube there, stop off at Finchley Road before hand and have a tasty meal at PizzaExpress - it is just a minutes walk from Finchley Road tube station.

Then you can catch the fast train from Finchley Road to Wembley Park - only one stop away.
