  1. of cause its bearable and besides labour pains differ from person to person. so dont be scared might be lighter to you; and they dont last forever besides try to think of the little one at the end of all that... many baby dust to you and all of us

  2. I had natural Childbirth for 8 hours and it hurt but I wasnt going to die or anything. The last 8 hours I was drugged up and it was heaven. I didnt feel a thing. If your scared get drugs they help a lot. They might slow down labor though. Not illegal drugs get an epidural. I was in no way going through 14 hours of labor without an epidural. More power to you girls that can.

  3. Well, if it wasn't bearable, none of us would be here, right?  Or at least we would all be only children.

I'm not going to lie to you--it HURTS!  I completely underestimated how much labor pains were going to hurt, and I ended up being in labor for 13 hours.  I finally ended up asking for an epidural after ten hours because I wasn't progressing very quickly, and my labor could have gone on for countless more hours (I was exhausted by that point).  But you can ask for an epidural right away if that's what you want to do.

They make pain medications to help you get through labor--don't be shy about asking for them.

  4. Not going to lie to you, it can be as bad as they say.  I had 2 natural Child births - both which fortunately lasted only a few hours.  It was incredibly painful, the contractions seemed to be worse than the actual delivery for me.  Be assured however, the pain does fade quickly and as long as you listen to your body, relax and stay relatively calm, you will do fine.

  5. I had a pretty long and painful labor.  Started out natural for like 20 hours and then went to the drugs, except the wore off once I got to the pushing stage.  I thought I wasn't going to be able to do it.  The best way to describe the pain of "crowning" is a real bad urinary tract infection, it stings more than anything.  As soon as the baby is out, all the pain pretty much goes away within minutes and you forget everything bad about labor, because you get to see your little one's beautiful face.

Don't worry, it's completley normal to be nervous, I'll be the first to tell you that I was.  Good luck and baby dust :)

  6. Visit a hospital and get first hand experience narrated  by many who are on the threshold of delivering. It is a common thing for any married and pregnnt lady to undergo such experiences. Be courageous.

  7. don't get terrified for pain due to child birth it's your baby and your baby completes you

  8. Well I know what you mean but I am having a baby as well a girl to be in fact and it is perfectly fine to be afraid but having the feeling of being a mother is just as wonderful so I heard it is painful but the feeling after words should be a priceless moment:)

  9. Just shrug off! Dont think of it at all! Be cheerfull

  10. No matter how bad it gets, the second they place the baby in your arms you forget about all the pain...until you go into delivery the next time you get pregnant. :)  Honestly every delivery is different, you could have it super easy or it could be bad but it's so worth it.

  11. Yes, its bearable (or I wouldn't have done it 3 times).  Yes, it can be extremely painful or it can just be extremely uncomfortable (depending on your tolerance for pain).  Luckily, the pain is pretty momentary.  The contractions can hurt like crazy as they are peaking, but once its done, you get a nice little break.  For me, the contractions were more of a very, very, very uncomfortable feeling, but not exactly "painful".  During birth itself, it hurts and burns and all those scary things people tell you about.  Again though, its only for a moment.  The second the baby is delivered, it doesn't hurt at all anymore.  Maybe a little sore, but not at all painful.

Every woman's tolerance for pain is different.  Its like you see these women screaming bloody murder on birthing shows, then others just grunt and groan a little bit like its no big deal.  I was somewhere in the middle.  lol

  12. dear u dont listen the stories. That is confused and peaceless mind to u.so u dont worry about this.all will do good.best wishes to u.

  13. You know that they say...

As soon as it's over you forget about all of it. And that is true!

I'm not going to lie to you. Labor and delivery hurts. It hurts like the worse menstrual cramps you can imagine. However, it's nothing that a woman wasn't designed for and can get through. At first, it will feel like terrible back pain that comes and goes and then comes more than it goes. If you read up on it, and take some classes for breathing then you will be fine. Also, don't forget that an Epidural is available and is some women's life-line.

I personally went through 15 hours of natural labor and while I was exhausted and in pain it was all worth it.

If it were so terrible, women would stop at number one!

  14. It is very painful.  But I think if I had known what to expect, I could have definitely gotten through it without pain meds.  I was just scared and the contractions were really close together so there was no relief.  I am almost craving going through it again because I want to do it without pain meds.  You just have to remember that women have been doing this for thousands of years.  If it were unbearable, we wouldn't even be here.  The end result is so worth everything that you go through.  And truly, the recovery from my stupid stitches was worse than labor and delivery.
