  1. hummm you better hope the judge you get is not a d**k like most of them are no offense to any judges but they seem to take it harder on non American citizens even though its illegal.

one they will prob set a court date you go to your court date and the set it one month later to **** with you like they do all the time but your fines will vary if you have a clean record you should not get charged that much

  2. You could get jail time. You could also be deported. There are strict laws in the US against driving under the influence.

  3. It depends on the State you are living and studying. You can call the district court clerk or police station that you got cited to find out the fines.

Usually DUI Charges starts with Suspended license and fines and/or attending educational classes.

  4. Depends on the state but here in AZ, law states:

First Extreme DUI (BAC above .15%)

JAIL: 30 consecutive days in jail. The Court may suspend 20 of the 30 days if you agree to get an alcohol and/or drug evaluation, and submit to treatment.

FINE & COSTS: $250.00 fine, plus a surcharge, plus an additional $250.00 assessment to the Arizona DUI abatement fund, plus an additional $1000.00 assessment for arrests after March 13, 2004.

LICENSE: The MVD will suspend your driver's license for 90 days.

COUNSELING: Allowed if recommended in your evaluation and you want the Judge to suspend all but ten days in jail.

PROBATION: You may be placed on probation for up to five years.

IGNITION INTERLOCK DEVICE: You will be required to have an Ignition Interlock Device installed on your vehicle.

  5. You could get jail time.
