Hi, i have just been diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer?

Question

i am due to have a full thyroidoctomy in the next couple ov weeks, both sides lymph nodes in neck are being removed aswell, and poss underarm nodes, has anyone had this done and if so how was it,please share your experiences with me, as i am very scared.thankyou..

d**n!!  I'm sorry to hear that.

But, I do know you can live without your Thyroid, you just need constant, life long Medication  after the Operation to regulate your body. It's better than the Alternative!
