Hi, i hv a automatic washing machine for clothes & a dish washer.Now my dishwasher ditergent is out of stock?

so can i use the my washing machine ditergent for my Dish washer till i get the dish washer ditergent? can anybody tell me what is the difference between the two ditergents as both are used for machines only - i.e. one for clothes machine and other for utensils' i.e. a dishwasher....

  3. If you use clothes washing detergent in your dishwasher you'll have bubbles running out all over the place. The two are not interchangeable. Look for a different brand of dishwasher detergent until the one you like is back in stock.

  4. Sure, if you plan on washing your walls and floors at the same time!

    Auto dish detergent has no "suds", for a reason!

    No bubbles!

    As someone suggested, hand wash for now!

  5. The detergent for your laundry will suds more and probably not dissolve so well, if it's a powder. You may have to hand-wash your dishes until you can get a detergent for your dishwasher.

  6. A lot of dish washing soaps have little abrasive granules mixed in so  clothes detergents  won't  work as well. Try a small amount too see how much it foams as that is usually the problem.
