Hi, i just got a new ipod nano 3rd generation and got set up with itunes.?

i've been putting stuff on the library using cd's but it wont let me access the itunes store, it says 'itunes could no connect to the store make sure your network is active'. it says this when i am connected to the internet anyway, any suggestions? oli!

silly question but have your registered with the store and logged into it first.

if you try and buy form the store without an account if often gives this message.

also have you a firewire installed as the store uses http and also some open ports that your firewall may have closed in the mac this is in the security settings.
