you need to have support documents to your identity and residence...

passport, PAN card... your employers I-card... telephone bill... driving licence... bank statement... passbook... etc may do...

if u don't have the ration card plz dont do worry.becouse u can submit the photocopie of pan card or votercard or identity card(if mention the add off your resident) or paper of your house(photostate)or electricity bill of your house .if u r living on rent.then yor master should write down in legel paper that such person is living in my building.and he is working in such department.
