  2. You can get a collateralized credit card without a bank account...

  3. If you have money and just need a card to make a purchase without the real "credit" then get a prepaid card.  Just google "Prepaid Credit Card".  If you need a card with actual credit so you can buy something you can't afford at the moment then you wont be able to get one without at least a checking or savings account with some kind of financial institution because from your question it doesn't sound like you have any credit history established.  The same will go for most of the Secured Credit Cards.  Bank of America, First Premier, New Millennium Bank and US Bank all offer Secured Credit Cards of some kind but you will need to give money up front to establish a line of credit.  However much you deposit determines how much you can charge.  Even then you will still need to open some type of savings or checking account with the company who provides the card.  Things which rely on a credit score can't be acquired immediately at your convenience.  It takes time.

Btw... Capital One, Citibank, American Express, Chase and Discover do not offer a Secured Credit Card product.

  4. It doesn't matter how bad you want it. If you don't even have a bank account you won't qualify.

  5. You need to get a secured credit card. Contact Capital One or Orchard Bank. They 'll give you a credit line for whatever amount of money you give them...say $500 or more if you can afford it.

You won't qualify for a bank card if you don't have any established credit. In any event an adult should have a bank account too.
