hi, i have done my B.sc in microbiology, and i wanted to go for a twinning program offered by an indian univerisity ( andhra university ) which offers an M.S degree in Molecular biology and biotechnology accordiong to which the student will be doing one year of his study in india and the other year at an American university( K.S.U. ). i wanted to know how good these twinning courses are? whether students doing such twinning courses are considered on par with their regular peers who are doing a complete two year program in U.S. it would be grateful if i could know more about the twinning programs in general. thank you.

  1. In general, yes the programs are good. It gives you the chance to study abroad without having to search for the university and set up your program since the program does that for you. You are considered to be on par because the universities only choose universities on the same level as theirs. Also, in the US, Indians have a reputation of beng vry smart and hard workers, so you will win the respect of many since you have orked hard enough to make it to the States.
