Hi, im first chair clarinet at my school. im in my 3rd year of playing. i need a piece a tad slow and dramatic

i just want a nice little piece of music that has a kind of, "umph" to it. ya know?

  1. My favorite piece is called "Invicta". Maybe you should try that.

    Also try Le Tambourin by Jean-Philippe Rameau... it's a little on the fast side, but a really cool solo piece.  http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/store/smp_...

    If you are advanced, you could try the Clarinet Concertino by Carl Maria von Weber... although this is college level, so it may be above your ability for now- keep it in the back of your mind to try in a few years.
