A dangerous area - so stay in a nearby suburb and make sure it's a decent place otherwise you'll end up in hospital.

Hi-i would stay in the city centre, its only a 10 min walk from the New Gorbals (or 2 in a taxi). Try somewhere like the Ramada Glasgow City ( http://www.ramadajarvis.co.uk/glasgow/ ) Cheers!

The above posted is talking rubblish. Like the first two said, there is a Premiar Inn but there is also a hotel called the Tulip Inn.

for budget hotels, premier travel inn as above and try holiday inn and travel lodge.

look on tripadvisor.com for all hotels and reviews. you could find a good hotel on there.

just a tip - if you are from abroad look for pubs with the weatherspoons menu, their breakfast are great and cheap. better than paying £7 for travel inn.

New Gorbals doesn't have a hotel, the only hotel type is student accommodation, the nearest one will be in Clyde Street, city centre, I am not being rude to people who live there but its not a place I would want to live in, although I was born there 51 years ago
