Hi, is this a good ideal to keep cool during the summer?

I am thinking of getting a chest freezer and sitting in it.

It might work for a while but it will run up a bill.  Take a trip to the mall and hang out there.  Much cheaper.

Or even better go to the grocery store and hide in an ice cream freezer.  Nobody goes in them much and they are even colder than normal freezers.  I know I used to work in one.

No as you could end up closing yourself inside or get pneumonia after getting out.

Very good thinking. Also include a tank of oxygen if you close the lid. Good luck on your endeavor

The only thing that will do is run up your electric bill.Assuming you (hopefully)you have removed the lid.

Cheaper to drive to the mall than buy a freezer, plus you are less likely to suffecate

I think you should do it. I've been doing some research and it appears that the cooling effect is greatly enhanced by having someone place 300 bags of ice on the lid of the freezer once you're in.
