  1. Sorry can't help with the spa question but when I went about 2 years ago I found that beers were very expensive, dearer than London by some distance.

Food is generally priced ok and cannabis is dirt cheap if you are that way inclined!

    Have fun!

  2. You have nearly all about amsterdam here:

  3. Spa ? in Amsterdam.

Go to a spa at home,

When in Amsterdam see the city, get a canal tour, experience the street cafe' culture

Wow!!   get a tourist guide there is soooo much to see. Don't waste your time indoors.

PS      prices are fine similar to any European city.

  4. and dont forget the se x shops...

  5. dont waste time doing something that you could do at home. experience the culture. if you're into art, there are several museums such as the van gogh museum. there is the anne frank house. canal tours. the red light district. the coffee shops (dont miss out on those). there are also several clubs such as Sinners In Heaven or Panama.

  6. Hi....you are lucky!!..

But why waste time there doing something you could do at home??

There are plenty of small interesting bars, many with live music. Prices are not too bad for drinks, food etc. There are dozens of restaurants too....try Indonesian food...it is particularly good there.

Why not do a canal cruise and learn a bit about the history of the city.

Visit a diamond factory...they are famous for them. Dress up in Dutch costume and have your photo taken near a windmill. Although it is not spring....I'm sure there will be some lovely gardens.

Don't miss Canal street and the red light district!!.....a real eye opener ( but safe for tourists)

Coffee bars are not quite as we would expect, as it is legal to sell marijuana there in them!!

Hire a bicycle.....(or borrow one)...there are literally thousands of them parked at the railwway station.!!

  7. I would recommend going to see Anne Frank's house, and a tour of the Heinekin plant

  8. they will eat u in amstterdam

  9. Prices are not bad for food or beers.  They have different size beers, but the big ones were usuall around 5 euros.  Skip the spa, you can do that anywhere.  There is so much to do in Amsterdam.  I want to go back all ready.  Here's my list of places to go:

The Heineken Factory - if it's open, it's been closed for remodeling but it's supposed to re-open this summer.

    Anne Frank House

The Van Gogh Musuem is a must see

Zaanse Schans - there are windmills there, a wooden shoe store that shows you how they make them, and a really great cheese store that also shows you how they make their cheese. It's a really cool place to visit. It's only a 5 euro train ride away, it takes about 20 minutes, they tell you how to get there on this website:

    http://www.zaanseschans.nl/zschans/en/in...

Heineken Ice Bar - it's pretty cool, it's pretty much a freezer, but it's neat to check out

If you're interested in coffee shops, they are everywhere and it seems like most of them have their menus out so you don't have to ask. One cool one to check out is Dampkring, it was in the Ocean's 12 movie.

Also, you will have a lot of fun just walking around Amsterdam, it so nice there. Check out the Red Light District, it's intereesting to see girls in the windows. Just be careful with your wallet anywhere you go in Amsterdam, we were and we didin't have any problems.
