Hi Guys,

my pc is very slow due to virus.So, please suggest me free antivirus software by which when i scan any icon on my desktop and if virus is appear to me.

Then remove virus on particular thread is also appear to me sothat I can easly remove all virus from my pc.

Download AVG free, it is a good antivirus and update it at regular intrevals.

I suggest using ThreatFire and AVG Free Edition.

if your going with freeware antivirus then go with avira /avg /avast..

avast as an online scanner which helps a lot while surfing ..but it fails to detect some virus..

avg is also good but it also fails to detect some virus..

avira is a complete antivirus except for online scanner..

but it detects all the virus that avast and avg does not detect..

install spybot search and destroy along the antivirus to give more protection to your pc..

Do you know that my pc was infected with viruses, worms, trojans, hackers, ect  23 times! But thanks to avast antivirus. The free and effective antivirus. AVG is not good.these are all free. You may use:

1) Comodo antivirus

2) Zonealarm

2) avast!

Are not free, but are good and effective.

These are some useful tips:

1) While booting, press and hold F8.

2) select safe mode with networking.

and download the file from the net.

first off yes, virus does make your computer slow. pop ups are also another very common symptom of infection second NORTEN SUCKS!!!! zonealarm!

trend micro has a free online virus remover and scaner called house call i would start with that. - http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

dont EVER download a random anti virus or spy ware program because half of them are viruses. there is a program called antivirus XP that IS a virus and people have been giving there credit card info to it (i know this because i work for geeksquad and see that one often)

if both of those put together do not work go on zonealarm.com and BUY and download zonealarm internet security suite. its 60$ and is one of my favorite programs on the plaint! it has everything. firewall anti virus and spyware e-mail protection etc

i do this stuff for a living i know my stuff.

If you want ur pc really fast again the best think to do is to delete the whole hard disk (yes i mean it) and than put windows whatever you have on it.

Than its empty but really really fast!!

It is better to format your system and install an anti virus software, AVG is a free anti virus software also you can get some tools like spyware doctor and Norton antivirus for free from google pack (pack.google.com).

for better performance download Kaspersky trial version and scan it, it works well and removes all viruses, worms and malwares from your system. Even Avast is a free anti virus software. Hope this helps you.

Best is KasperSky or AVG. Widely used is AVG. If u donot hv internet the virus is not permanently removed. If u hv internet then constantly be updating ur AVG software and it will take care of ur system.

If it is not going then too, then the only way to remove it is to format ur system. U will get the format CD in any CD stores. Try in Koti / Park Lane in Secunderabad.

Don’t worry for points...

Have you deleted temp files, cookies, off line internet contents etc...?

If not...! then clean it... I think it would regain its speed if you do...
