Hi, please help me with my TV Remote problem..?

i have a RCA model=T19408.. Television and i lost the remote for it and i bought a universal remote but i cant find the code for this specific tv..i really need to use a remote for it please help me i would really appreciate it.

if that is the 27" model your are in trouble.  i know what you mean. you can get a unviversal remote but all that you be able to do is the change channels and volume sorry.

Some universal remotes, don't have all the listings, for TVs, but have a set up, where you can search for your own code.

Try an RCA remote first, or if you have another brand name one, read the manual. It will tell you how to search for the tv code.

Usually,  you hit the TV button, then hold the set up button, until the light stays on, then with the TV turned off, you hit the power button, often for several tries, until the tv turns off. Then you hit an enter button to lock in the code. and you should be fine.

Some remotes are different, but look in the manual for the right procedure. You can buy those remotes at Big Lots, for a low price and they work welll Good luck

Even tho it says RCA, many times its actually made by another manufacturer, try contacting thomson consumer electronics, customer support, ask them what brand to use to set it up.
