Just wondering as my family and i are considering emigrating to Calgary. If so in your opinion, if you lived in a different country would you move there or not? we have all ready been on holiday to calgary in 2005 and enjoyed it so much we got back and looked into emigrating, but it got put on hold for one reason or another. so in 2007 we went to Toronto we enjoyed that holiday but not as much as Calgary as it was much more up beat. my dad is re- training to be a L.G.V driver. we are a young family of 4 the youngest being 8. Do you think we should move? thankyou for the answers Ellie xxxx

  1. I'm not sure what a L.G.V. driver is, or what it pays, so I'm not sure if your dad will be able to get a job in Calgary..

However, if your family can afford it. I would definitely recommend moving to Calgary. As far as I'm concerned, it's one of the best cities in Canada. I have many friends that live there, and love it, and if I could afford it, I would move there in a heartbeat. It's close to the mountains, with a lot of outdoor and other activities to indulge in..

  2. Calgary more upbeat than Toronto????? Thats strange, if you like the mountains than Calgary is great. Personally depending on where you live I would stay in England. In my humble opinion the fake cowboy culture in Calgary doesnt really mix well with the British roots. Calgary is a nice place to visit but I wouldnt want to live there.
