Hi, what's the age for nightclubs and alcohol in Canada ?

I heard it's 21 yo but a friend said we can go in a nightclub at 19, so what i wanna know is if it's true or not Thx!!!

  1. It's true, nothing in Canada is 21.  Most of Canada is 19 to drink or enter a nightclub, except the provinces of Quebec, Manitoba and Alberta where it is 18.


  2. 19 in most places, like Ontario, but a lot of bars make their own age requirements (IE: 23+, 21+, etc.) Quebec's drinking age is 18 and Montreal has AMAZING nightlife if you get the chance to visit.

    The age to drink is detirmined by province, the highest age being 19, the lowest being 18 I believe.

  3. It's different in different Provinces. Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec are 18. All the rest are 19.
