Hi, what is the best age to purchase a Chinchilla? ?

With any animal it is best to purchase it when you know that your going to be able to devote a lot of time to it. Chinchilla's are wonderful pets so good luck

While there young, so they can get used to you as they grow older..

I have owned many chinchillas over the years and all of them have there own personality.. It doesn't matter how old they are as long as they have the personality you are looking for. Don't be afraid if they are a little skiddish at first this is something that can be improved upon once you get him/ her home. I agree with the others adopt! there are many people who buy chinchillas and don't realize the amount of work, time, and commitment they are making and the chinchillas end up in shelters.
