  1. upgrade??? why not just plug it and mix your own?

    never have to worry bout VRO pump again.


  2. If you can't get the parts through the dealer... Plug the whole.  Some boaters prefer to plug the whole rather than performing the time consuming/costly mainitenance of keeping the VRO working correctly.

    By mixing your own oil you ensure that the right amount is getting to the engine.  

    Some people consider this a performance modification, however I did not notice a difference either way on my 175
