Hi,I got a renault laguna 1 rxe and have prob with gears.I been driving at speed and cant get into any gear?

this is a worry as i am driving obviously and suddenly going nowhere.i have to pull up and select reverse gear(only gear it goes into to)and there is a loud banging noise then gear box seems ok again.any ideas anyone?

Perhaps your clutch cable needs adjustment. Best thing is to send it to an experienced mechanic for adjustment then...

Yeah - your gearbox has gone for a burton...   need to get it sorted otherwise you gonna get stuck somewhere `orrible...

could be yor clutch

does it go into all gears when the engine is off?

try putting it in 1st with engine off then put the clutch in and try to start it - if it lurches forward then your clutch is worn or knackered and either needs replacing or adjusting

Yes your gearbox is failing. It's a bad problem take it to a garage and get it fixed...
