  1. you can buy a railcard and get a third off http://www.disabledpersons-railcard.co.u...

  2. Never heard that one.

However, as I do not drive because of epilepsy albeit well-controlled, I was eligible for a concessionary bus pass from my local authority.

  3. Oh, didn't see the London part. Sorry. Here if a person is on crutches they get into the movies free, and in a wheel chair, the person in the chair and the person pushing gets in free.

A lot of companies offer specials for things of such. You may have to contact them.

  4. If you are a registered disabelled person, then you can apply for a disabelled railcard (leaflet availiable at all Railway Stations) costs £20 per year and will give you on average 34% off any journey (subject to restrictions on certain tickets).

The leaflet can not be actioned by the rail staff, you have to send it via the freepost address to Newcastle and normally they send you the discount card within 10 working days.

  5. If it is Transport For London should have the answers of how to apply.

I did a web search and found this:

    http://www.freedompass.org/disabledusers...

    See section 7.

I had my first siezure in April, but hope it will be my only one.  Currently not driving.

  6. I think you should pay the same as everyone else.
