I don't want to go somewhere just for the novelty value - the food should be good too. But somewhere that has a little extra something or a bit different. Maybe that you wouldn't see on toptable.

  1. How about Archipelago - there are lots of exotic dishes on the menu, including things like chocolate-covered Scorpions!

  2. Go to that Jungle restaurant, its like a rainforest and the food is supposed to be fantastic.

  3. i know an iranian restaurant in kensington its called Alounak (middle eastern dishes), that are outstanding for eg; marinated skewers of Lamb and Chicken accompanied by the most perfectly cooked rice with salad. it has an extensive menu great decor nice people and inexpensive...........now here is the great news you can take your own BOOZE  with no charge as they do not serve any alchohol..there is no corkage charge...........the food is consistently good..fabulous humous with a bread that is baked on the floor in an oven...telephone 0207 603 7645....youll love and go there again and again...Regards...David

    but her in aus we have a place called pancake on the rocks they make gormet  pancakes for lunch and dinner but no breaky

    and have the best ones for dessert  

  5. Chez gerard and The Avenue are very pretty. And I believe I heard some of the royal family used to eat in Chez gerard too. i'm quite sure they are both centered near downtown by Tower bridge. ya know, around that area...
