  1. Depends on why you want to come here as to what you will like.

If you are a single middle aged man, you can book a flight to Bangkok.  You should have the rest figured out by the time you finish your first beer.

Otherwise, the following places are really great for tourists:

    Phuket

    Koh Samui

    Koh Chang

    Chiang Mai

    Pai

    Mae Hong Son

    Ayutthaya

    Bangkok

    Kon Kaen

    Kanjanaburi

    Erawan National Park

That should be enough to get you started

  2. Bangkok, Ayuttaya, Chaing Mai is really an amazing place.  I could have stayed there forever!  Chaing Rai as well which is near laos.  Really beautiful country and the people are so friendly and warm. Plus its cheap.

Also check out koh Phi Phi and Krabi.

  3. hi i think bangkok ,pattaya , phuket, samui and i think you can search in websites , search engine  buy book travel in thailand i have my blog book travel in thailand you can see

  4. Not every tourist likes the same things!   Some tourists want to head out to the beaches, some tourists want to shop until they drop, some want to go on treks in Chiang Mai and some want to party all the time.   What do you want to do?

When you Google "what to see and do in Thailand" you will get lots of hits. Sample info:

Plan on staying in Bangkok for 2 or 3 days to see the city.  Get a hotel near the Skytrain route to make it easier to get around the city.  Travel agencies are the places to go for tours. They will have a selection list of available tours.  Lots of travel agencies, check a few out.

If you intend to fly to another city, like Chiang Mai or Phuket - remember that there are 2 airports that serve Bangkok, know which airport you fly out of.  Don Muang is DMK.
