  1. if you use an HDMI cable to connect your blu-ray to your TV it will have digital sound.  It will be i n whaever format the video is ussually 5.1 dolby suround sound.


  2. Connect the bluray to the receiver with a hdmi cable then another hdmi from the receiver to the tv.
