  1. I'm not sure there is such a thing as a 'simple' mast and sail lol.

Do you want it up permanently, demountable or in a tabernacle so it drops flat?

There's a lot of information in the linked site. I suggest working through it as background information.

Try and find a similar boat and measure up the rig. Check out any classic boat sources on the internet or at your library, even old paintings. There should be information about sailing cobles, old prints and photographs in east coast museums. Google fishing museum and email them.

I think the position of the mast and type of rig are fairly crucial for good sailing qualities, and will vary depending on the boat. You can always experiment with the position once you have a rig.

You could maybe look for a cheap second hand or scrap dinghy and pinch the fittings from that, or look for someone getting rid of just the mast and sail from an upgrade. May be a bit undersize, but you could experiment with it anyway.

Sorry, can't offer any practical 'how-to' advice on this.

  2. ITS ALL ABOUT HOCKEY BABY! TAKE YOUR BUBBLE BATH BOAT

AND SAIL THE UCK OUTTA HERE!!!!!

  3. Hi

I suggest not sailing during hockey season. Frozen ponds are for skates and sticks not mast and spears.

    Thank You

  4. Just use a lot of hockey tape. That should help keep it in place.
