  1. McDonalds is a great first job for you.  The pay will most likely be minimum wage and it differs depending on what state you live in.  Here in TX it is 6.50.  You will get good experience and the opportunity for promotions is pretty good if that is what you are looking for.  Just know that it may be stressful at times because McDonalds gets very busy, especially around 5 because that is when everyone is getting off from work.  Good luck!

  2. You have to be 16 that I am aware of and no they don't pay good.

  3. i last thought that u had to be 16 to work there.  no they don't pay good, but it is good for a first job.  Don't stay there too long.

  4. look at it as your first experience that may propell you into a  life long business. no i dont mean at mickie ds but maybe in restraunt management which is big bucks or maybe cooking school to be a chef. or like some people i know that started out in a hot dog stand and now just 10 years later are semi retired and get hired out to places that are not doing well and give advice as to what the owners should do to pick up business. so enjoy the experience and good luck

  5. I worked there once when I was 15 and they hired me. they generally payed fairly like 6 dolars for hour and you could get a raise twice a year if you work good. It's a fun experience. only coming home smelling like french fries was a little disgusting.

By the way could you select me as best answer? I really need points. :-)

  6. I dont know where u live, but almost everywhere in the US, 16 is min age for places like McDonalds. Never heard of a state that would alllow a 15 yr old to work. Since it's Fed law, it must be standard evrywhere. How close are u to 16-maybe there is a clause in the law that allows u to work limited at,  say 15?1/2 or as u approach that 16th b-day., kind of like driving lic (learner permit) some places allow at 151/2

  7. i personally work at McDonald's and they do hire 15 year olds, at least the one that i work at does, and the starting wage at mine is $6.50 an hour, plus a review and chance to get a raise twice a year, optional retirement plan, and even health care. again i don't know if all McDonald's are the same but that's just at the one where i have worked for the past one and a half years
