  1. Baga, Candolim and Calangute are some of the main resorts in North Goa.

I am planning to go to India myself in March, but am awaiting a visa.  Make sure you have a visa before booking especially if travelling as soon as March.  They can take a number of weeks apparently.

  2. www.goatourism.com

  3. Check out "Cancio's House". It's family run and it's cottage rooms are of the standards of a starred hotel.

  4. if you go to http://18ktravel.com there is an are where it comapre rates of hotels and their facilities. and if you want to know about Goa's night life i recommened going to this website: http://www.virtualtourist.com/travel/Asi...

    and

  5. I have been to Goa twice and loved it,the first time we stayed at the Kamat it was a lovely hotel in Calangute, but we had been there over a week when we realised we were on the outskirts. Calangute is a very bustling place but where we were there was plenty going on,  lots of restaurants and beach shacks which were perfect to sit with a nice cold Kingfisher beer watching the sun set over the sea amazing. There is also the Goan Heritage which was on the beach that was a lovely hotel too.

The Goan`s are lovely people and the children are so polite we used to walk to the beach and the children would smile and say hello mam, and the little ones would want to hold your hand, if I hadn`t got 13 grandchildren already I could have brought some back( ha ha)

  6. There are may good resorts on the beach locations and its totally depends on your budget i will suggest you to visit holiday club india .net and make inquery they can provide you best rates. enjoyyyyyyyyy

  7. Try this website cidade de goa.com

we stayed there, very nice hotel, very clean.. private clean beach... you will get English and Indian food both...

    nice bar..

one more thing ask for sea facing room,... its wonderful expericence ... will not forget for whole life..

its 5* hotel could be little expensive then some other hotel but believe me its best...

Club Mahindra , Taj  is also nice hotels.

  8. If you fancy the "beach hut" lifestyle then Id recommend Palolem in the south of Goa.  2km long palm fringed beach with plenty of huts, bars and restaurants to choose from.  All are set back into the palms.

Nightlife isnt as mad as in the north (thats if you're into hippy trance)... if not theres always little parties going on on the beach of Palolem
