  1. nice to hear my frend

  2. I would get ahold of the Thai embassy in India & ask her to get ahold of the Indian embassy in Thailand & see what they have to say. I also wish you the best of luck. :)

  3. best of luck

  4. This is what my Indian friend informs: The best thing to do is get married at the Indian embassy in Bangkok.

To do so, you'll need a certificate of eligibility to marry issued by an appropriate Indian authority, which should be addressed to the Indian embassy in Bangkok. She will also need a document from her country to state she is eligible to marry, which means she has not married before or is a widow or divorced, as the case may be. This petition can be filed by her on your behalf, with copies of your passport.

The Indian embassy requires a 30-day notice to get married and so, you'll need to fill the required forms, pay the fee and await till that date. The embassy ceremony will be very simple where both of you will be administered oaths of marriage. A certificate stamped and signed by the official who marries you will be issued.

With this certificate, you can apply at any civil court in India to register your marriage under the Special Marriages Act. The court will issue you an Indian marriage certificate once your formalities are completed.

You can take her to India and marry but from what I was told is, you'll need at least 3 months for the process. This entails filing a marriage petition in a civil court in your place under the Special Marriages Act since she and you come from diffferent religions and countries.

  5. I think you should check with your embassy on the procedures for a tourist visa for a Thai citizenship to your country.  You can goggle it and do some research.

  6. VERY GOOD DECISION AND BEST OF LUCK.

    1) You should think of bringing her to India and settling here because Thailand visa rules are easier for tourist visa but very difficult for  immigrant  visa. Tourist visa is maximum for 30 days.

    2) For Thailand immigrant visa, even if you  marry a Thai girl, you will get maximum 90 days visa, which means that you  would have to exit Thailand and re enter every 90 days.

    3) If you can show that you have minimum balance of 800, 000 baht in your bank account and show that balance to the appropriate authorities every month plus minimum fixed salary/earning every month, you can get one year visa after your marriage is registered. So every year you have to go out of Thailand and re enter.

    4) After 5 years of Item 3 above, you may get permanent visa.

    5) In case of India, tourist visa is normally issued for 6 months.

    6) If you get your marriage registered, your wife will get 1 year visa and without going out of India you can renew her visa every year for 5 years and thereafter, she can become citizen of India.

  7. 1. You are Hindu she is Buddhist.  Your children will be Budus (pronounced boodoos).

    2. For any Visa questions visit your countries visa website or hire one of the 20,000,000 Indian Visa attorneys.  I'm sure bringing one Thai into India should be no problem.

    3. Both India and Thailand do not allow dual citizenship.  So your out of luck there.
