Horrible!Your government captured 15 British sailors in Iraqi waters for no reason!Their argument that we were on their waters is irrelevant,since the very first video showed incorrect coordinates,and the Iranians quickly sent a second video to rescind this.Also the freed British sailors also said that coercion and psychological torture was used against them.

The entire event was shameful, both for the Iranians

who conducted the illegal kidnapping and for the British

who lacked the courage & will to either resist, fight back

or come take the soldiers back by force....The British

soldier also behaved like cowards...

This would have been a perfect opportunity to destroy

Iran's navy, air-force and nuclear facilities...

shamefull for who ?????for iran coz they defend their dignity or for british marines coz they are in place not for them????? it is shame for british marines they do not have right not to be in iraqi water or in iranian water it is not their home sthey have to stop puting their nose in others affairs tell me what ur government will do if there were a family live in a house then a stranger comes and attacks them saying the dad is bad and controled everything in the house without having any right they killed the dad and they take the mum and the kids and the house without any right all the armies there are strangers get out of their land u do not have right to be in iraqi water or iranian water u r there only for petrol and other natural sources of those countries

I don't think he/she will get rude emails.  I think a lot of people would love to find out more from an actual Iranian citizen.

I don't think anyone actually knows why they released them.  It's all speculation.

I think to ease the current tension in the Middle East.   It was a good decision by the Iranian authorities.
