  1. With 5 days left, there isn't much you can do.  Your performance was determined by what you did during the last 12 weeks.  All you can do is rest, eat well, get plenty of sleep, stretch and continue to train easy.  Any hard workout now will only make you sore and hurt your performance. It takes 2 to 3 weeks for a workout to have any significant training effect.

  2. ok, i dont think you should do anything too strenuous right before, but i definitely think you can sneak in this workout. my coach had us do this about 4 days before our big track meet and i think it could help you as much as it helped me.  start off jogging 100m, then run a 200, as fast as you can but pacing yourself, take a 100m walk then start the next with a 100m jog, do a 400m, 100 m walk, jog, 600m, 100m walk, 100m jog..continue with a 800m, 600m, 400m, 600m, 800m, 800m, 600m, 400m, 200m, 100m

any endurance/distance runs won't count now, but this workout will help you pace yourself and it really helped me in my last 300m of my 800 race. when you're down to your last couple hundred meters, you'll be very tired, but you'll know how hard you can push yourself because you ran it over and over again extremely tired at practice.

good sleep is so important starting now. plyos and some strectching. eating well. lots of carbs the night before. lots of water. and several bananas..they really help with cramps.

go in ready to race, with a good mind set and don't let the kid behind you pass you, and catch up with the one infront of you!

GOOD LUCK!!! let me know how it goes:)

  3. Well eat healthy, stretch, maybe go to the gym like everyday, ride you re bike, run, and also get plenty of sleep

  4. Eat healthy, practice EVERY day(don't forget to stretch, you don't want any cramping), and sleep well.
