the travel agent applied for the electronic visas.

But I have just found out that you cant apply for a electronic visa if you have a criminal record but they have already been done. Me and my son have a criminal records mine was 20 years ago and my son got involved in a fight last year and went to court and received a refferal order. We are also in the process of applying for a skilled 175 visa! What do we do should the the travel agent have asked if any of us had a criminal record? And now it has been applied for! Travel Agent must of confirmed that we had no criminal record without asking us.

What Do We Do Please Help :-( Thankyou in advance

  1. I just got of the phone to the department of immigration here in Australia and made a few enquiry's for you.

You are right, you can not apply for a electronic visa if you have ever been convicted of a crime.

I was told you should rip up the visa's and apply for 676 visas.

Regarding applying for a subclass 175 visa.

I was told that maybe you should put that on the back burner for awhile,or until you know that you are are able to get a 676 visa.

This website  page will let you know whether or not you will be able to get a 676 visa and a subclass 175 visa.

This website page has the information and forms for the 676 visa.

I hope I was of some help.

    Take care.
