Hi All, I am movin to Hyderabad for about 2yrs, I need info on rent, utilities and how safe is it for women

I have always lived in a cosmopolitan cities, how safe is it to move about at nite (say post 9pm ) how conservative shud one dress and is it easy getting help (drivers, maids etc ) what is the average rent there and what areas are safe to stay in.

Hyderabad is pretty cosmopolitan city specially the IT city. Its as safe as moving around in Mumbai/Delhi/New York.

yes the old city & people are bit conservative. but i have seen girls wearing tank tops, sleeveless, jeans etc.

You can start with jeans & sleeveless ts & depending on your locality & work area you can soon find out what you should not wear.

Its easy to get drivers & maids & the average rents for a 2-3 bhk vary between 15-50k depending upon locality & facilities.

If you have lived in Indian cosmopolitan cities, then it should not be a problem adapting to Hyderabad.

If you are moving from abroad, suggest you do some reading about the city, dos, donts etc.
