OK .. I just spent two nights in the city ( researching family tree and getting lost in Essendon :^D  ) ... I stayed at a place called CITY SQUARE MOTEL...

Was a very BASIC room .. single bed ( left family at home), basic ensuite ( shower no bath) .. Micro-wave.. Fridge .. TV air con. Was $79.00 per night . HAD THE BASICS ... was clean ... provided toasting bread and butter/jam/vegemite/ toaster.. WAS NOT THE HILTON ... BUT YOU'RE NOT PAYING HILTON PRICES.

Draw-back .. LOL they lock the doors at Ten PM .. But if you're there for day time stuff .. it's ok
