  1. I think it's a wonderful idea. I'm sure she'd love to have you with her. It would be a special time she'd enjoy.

  2. It is better to learn drawing starting at the age of 5.

  3. It depends on the child.  There are some really creative kids out there, and there are some who aren't ready for a class.

I know of art programs for younger kids, and there are some classes for kids 3-5, so it could work.

  4. I think the hardest part will be finding someone to do lead her/them.  I suggest either finding or creating your own version of something like "paint and play" time - possibly through a library.

Also, you may approach a local artist with a bunch of 3-4 year olds and say we have a bunch of children who want to take part in art activities would you be interested.  I'm sure you could find someone - even if it is the local high school art teacher.

This is a hard one.  There are a lot of early childhood music programs but I haven't really heard of any that are art related.  I did one myself that I named paint and play for very young children but I've not heard of anyone else.

  5. teach her a bit of drawing from those join the dots books yourself and as soon as she shows some interest in drawing herself join her but if she is not interested don't force it on her because she might stop drawing properly altogether!!!

  6. yes, its a good idea...call the class and find out the beginning of age to put them in, if they say...3...go for it!!

  7. Just join them when they start drawring not just scrible but when they actuly atempt to draw something they can see or something that is real thats when you take them to the classes :)

  8. As long as your kid is interested there is no problem.  Some accept kids as early as 3 years old because they can recognize colors already.

  9. First, is the child interested in drawing and painting?  If so, any age....go for it!! You may be raising mini Picassos and Rembrandt
