Hi. Can you tell me how to somehow record/download/get somehow music from youtube or myspace? I cannot find mp3's or any other types of the song. But I believe there are some programs to record it, maybe someone knows how to do it the right way?

all you have to do is enter the URL of the video from you tube and this program will download and convert it into an mp3 file so if their is a song in you tube this is how you can get it.

1).  Google Vdownloader.  Its a free program whereby you enter the link of the youtube video you want and then select the output file e.g. avi or ipod compatible etc.  It downloads the video quickly and converts at the same time.   Very easy and quick but doesnt work with myspace music.

2).  For youtube and myspace music.  If you use a firefox browser, search the add-ins section for something called download helper, this sits at the top of your firefox and whenever ownloadable media content is detected ee. flash videos (youtube).  Click on the animated icon which looks like a yellow ball and select the video from the list (will be something like 234fhsm3424n.flv but the last thing you lstened to or watched is at the bottom so just select the last name and save to your desktop.  For youtube vids it will save as .flv (flash video) you will need a seperate converter to convert to avi (cant recommend any coz mine has a serial number which was given to me free but theres loads available).  A free VLC media player can automatically play .flv files though.  for myspace music, do the same thing but before you save the file, add ,mp3 to the end of the file name, and it will automatically save and work as an mp3.  (my preffered choice of download).

3.  For youtube vids, search youtube ripper, theres lots of sites that do the same as vdownloader without the use of a progra but vdownloader is better,

Hope this helps, choose me for best answer, but i would recommend option two for myspace music and one for youtube.  lot easier than they sound!
