Hi-Fi Amplifier

Right output speaker channel from amplifier crackles and spits in response to music being played. Left channel perfect. The same problem happens when headphones are plugged in. Hi-Fi speakers in A1 condition. I have a digital multi-meter but unsure of settings and where to locate on the amp circuit board.
