Hi! How long after s*x does Budgies lay there eggs???????

I have got two budgies and they have started mating and i would just like to know when the eggs will be due,,can you help plz?????

it takes three days, my parakeet lay her one one day after she mated with her partner, but each bird is different, you should also have in mind that their calcium is important to roduce the eggs. the average days is three.

After copulation normally between 5-10 days,but there is no definite no. of days,it all comes down to the condition of the female.

Hatching will take place between 18-21 days.

Remember that the first egg will not hatch till the hen has laid her full clutch of about 4-6 eggs.

So count your hatching days from the last egg laid.

waitabout10days. If there are no eggs,mating was not successful,they'll try again. Eggs will hatch after about 3 weeks. Good Luck.
