Its actually stoppin me from bein xcited which really annoys me! I already have a son but i had him 6yrs ago and i had never heard anything about labour(no bad or negative stories)back then so i wasnt worried in the slightest! I'v become so lazy while being pregnant this time and dont do very much exercise cus i am completely drained and have no energy what so ever which i'm scared will affect my labour also! Any1 any advice..and 2 those of u that are goin 2 b cheeky or sarcastic--dont bother! Thanks in advance!

  1. Congratulations :)

  2. Awww..don't be scared. There was a time when women had to worry about that. But now the chances of the mother dying during delivery is very small. If you are a healthy young woman that has recieved proper prenatal care then there is nothing to worry about.  Every pregnant woman has worries from the day she finds out she is pregnant :) It is part of it i think..lol. In the begining you worry "will I miscarry?" then you worry "will the baby be healthy?" "I haven't felt the baby move much today, is it ok?"  then as we get close to the end and all the test have been done and and everything seems fine and there doesn't seem to be anything else to worry about then we worry about "will I make it through delivery?" And then they are born and it starts all over. We check them every 5 minutes to make sure they are still breathing when they are asleep..lol. and so on and so on. Just try not to worry and realx. You aren't suppose to have a lot of energy..you are carrying a baby and you are tired :) Best wishes!!!!

  3. well sista no turning back now huh lol... good luck and w/#2 is alot easier as your body has been thru it once before... you know what to expect whether 6yrs apart or not...

  4. I say stay away from anything that deals with childbirth at this point.  You know tv, internet stuff....try to take your mind off the negative if you can.  Like at the end of my pregnancies i would never allow myself to watch tv shows about childbirth etc....so i wouldn't get caught up in what can go wrong.

During my second pregnancy i was more drained and tired..and didn't exercise much...and my delivery was much easier than my first because it was my second baby ;)  So don't worry too much you'll be okay!

  5. being nervous only makes things worse. if pregnancy wasn't so natural, why should you be scared? complications happen, but not just to everyone. there's always a reason. enjoy pregnancy, don't worry about working out. eat what you feel like and let it happen to you. be happy with your child.

  6. Congratulations on your baby.

I have had three natural childbirths - no meds, just baby.

It's not near as painful as they make it out to be, the contractions are painful, but if you lay on your side and breathe, you can handle that.  the birth itself is more pressure than pain.

You'll be OK, stop watching the TV and stop looking on the internet and getting horror stories.  Things do happen, but for the vast majority, they come out with a beautiful baby.  Concentrate on getting prepared for the baby.

  7. to late to have regrets aye?

  8. you'll be fine. just don't think negative. I had my son with no medication, plus i had preclampsia and the doctors were telling me you should take the medication your sick and having a rough time but i still didn't. my son even came out with his hand on his head to make everything worse. i ended up staying in the hospital for a week to watch my blood pressure but everything was fine with my son and i. honestly there will be so many nurses in there and doctors you'll be fine. I'm not saying don't take the medication if thats what you want do it, then you won't have to worry about the contractions as much. good luck!
