Does anyone know how I can take a still from the video? A picture still.

I did it once b4, but ive a new laptop now and im not getting on with it too well.

  1. Most editing programs have this ability.

    Each program does it differently.  Read the Help section in your program.

    If you output a frame from an HDV video as a photo and the photo seems to be squeezed, open the photo in a photo editing program and change the width to 1920 pixels.  Leave the height at 1080 pixels.
