I went to doctor but he said it was a mild cold i don't think it is because it's been too long. Can it be another disease instead of a common cold?

  1. allergies or to much air condition...

  2. colds typically last 1 week, but the congestion and cough can last up to 2 weeks longer...common colds can turn into sinus infections

  3. it is a little long to have a cold, it isn't long enough to get really stressed about but you should look into it more.

if you have pain or pressure in the area of your sinuses then you most likely have a sinus infection.

but dont worry, if it is just a cough and some chest congestion then you probably have leftover mucous buildup. so sleep, drink plenty of water, and if you cough up mucous do not swallow it, i know its gross but spit it out and it will clear up faster.

  4. thats to long, go to a dr, if its allergies they will treat,, if its not they will find out what it is before it becomes chronic
