No, it's never too late for an education.  Plus you probably know how difficult life can be without an education so you are more likely to take class seriously.  I took a year off after high school to figure out what I wanted to do, it was a tough year.  I've been in college for 6 years now I won't graduate until I'm 27, but I will be Dr. in stead of Mr.  My degree is in engineering.

first question that you should ask yourself is do you really have interests in medicine. Do you really dare to sacrifice your time with your family, friends, your freedom, your time with your lover. If you really dare to take the pressure and the difficulties then i will support you to study medicine. About the age, i think it will not be a problem because if you really have the determination to study medicine, it will surely not a problem to you. all the best!!
