Hi !! I am Leo living in India, now i have a job offer in Dubai, were the company is ready to offer 5000 AED.?

Pls help in providing sufficient info on whether this salary of 5000 AED per month will be sufficient to live a decent life as a batchelor. also pls tel me what would be my expenses and what could be my possible savings.... pls help me soon.

Your expenses will be :-

Rent :- 1000 - 1500 AED

Phone Card:- 500 AED(if you call more frequently)

Food:- 1500 (Even if you are foody person).

Transportation:- AED 400/- In case your company does not provide you  transport facility.

I don't think AED 5,000 is a good salary .....because you will hardly be able to save 1000/- AED  to 1500/- AED Max,which is very small amount.

You can bargain with the company or if not then you can come here on this offer provided your company has good bonus and increment policy.

u din not mentioned about accomadation?wil company provide 4 u?if nt ,you have 2 pay more moneis for accomadation.then for food -750

Mobile Phone Charges-300

Others-500

if you need rent a room-1000

in general 5000 Dhs is good for a batchelor, but how much u'll save depend on how much ur expenses will be..in general accommodation is the most expensive, so if the company provided it + transportation, u can enjoy ur live alittle bit and save some money..

accommodation = 1000 AED

Food                 = 500 AED

Mobile              = 300 AED(with overseas calls) 125 AED(just

                             local calls)

Transportation=(use buses) 100 - 200 AED

this is approximate figures..hope it helps u to have a general idea..

* make sure the company give u medical insurance..!
