Hi!

First you should disconnect all cables etc, turn it off, try to wipe the coffee and then just let it dry. If you have a blow dryer you can also use it, but press the "cool" button so that the air that comes out is cool. When your computer is dry it will probably start working again.

Well I'm not sure how you are writing this message then.... but never mind

As with all electonic devices and liquids, you may be lucky, and you may not!

If you have not done so already then do the following:

1) Immediately disconnect all power sources (first from the wall and then) from the pc - all cables, everything

2) Press the power on button to remove any power (but it looks like you did this already)

3) Clean up all the coffee and dry everything with paper towels and get rid of as much liquid as possible

4) Wait!  You need to let the pc dry as much as possible - at least 24 hours before connecting and trying again.

The problem comes if the coffee has connected with sensitive parts inside the pc and if has fried them, then I it's dead.  You should have cleaned up and let it dry.  Never use electronic appliances when wet.... it can fry both the devices and you as well!

If after 24 hours and connecting it again, it is still not working then you need to get it serviced - although you will have to pay for this as spilling coffee on it will not be covered under the warranty
