basic salary that they are giving is 5000 saudi riyals per month with free accomodation, transport, and medical facility. do tell me if it is enough and if s how much can i save?

  1. I think it's enough.  If it's just you alone, you can save half easily if you cook at home and don't waste money shopping.  You'll probably spend a lot in the first couple months getting settled in, but after that, your only major cost will be food since everything else is paid for.  Food shouldn't cost you more than 1000 riyals per month, unless you love to eat in fancy restaurants.


  2. .....its fairly enough for a starter here in the kingdom......usually every year the employers gives increment to your salary.....so don't worry about it, your offers just fine......

  3. 5,000 for an expatriate is too little.

  4. if you are a single, it is a good start, your food will cost you 500-1000 SR and save the rest, if you have a wife your living cost will be 2000-3000 (moderate) and at the end it depends on your life style.of course the cost will increase if you have childs in the school.
